We’ve been serving in Palau since 2012. We began focusing on Children’s Ministry, which was our background when we served in the U.S. We helped train local children’s workers, establish children’s ministry to all ages within the local church, and we did a lot of outreach in the public schools and local community.
In early 2019, God lead us to take on a revitalization opportunity for a church that had never had a Pastor and was without leadership for several months. It has been awesome to see what the Holy Spirit has done as He has brought life into a church that began with just a few people and virtually no ministry taking place. There are now several different families a part of the church, a children’s ministry, newly renovated buildings, and a strong heart for giving to the work of God. The people sacrificially give of their time, their resources, and their finances in order to invest into the Kingdom of God. Through this time, we were reminded how with just some consistency and a little bit of direction and encouragement, God can take a struggling and hurting church and breathe new life into it.
Our heart, which is also the heart of the Asia Pacific Region, is to continue to the work God has begun, train leaders, and continue to Plant, Grow, Train, Resource, and Missionize the Church in Palau.
